YOUR TASKS

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager (USA) to help us expand our professional’s client base in new markets. The Business Development Manager will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective market roll out strategy. The successful candidate will develop and execute a strategy to grow our online customer base across multiple industries and is in charge for achieving revenue goals driven by key performance indicators. The Business Development Manager and the team is focused to bring expondo's end-to-end suite of products to our prospective clients. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

The strategic long-term objectives are set for rapid hyper growth, we are planning to expand significantly into new markets. The envisioned expansion will significantly increase the complexity of the business. Part of that winning strategy to enable the future envisioned growth of expondo it is planned to hire a top-notch Business Development Manager with sales capabilities to facilitate profitable growth through hers/his activities.

  • Develop a roll out strategy focused both on financial gain and operational effectiveness
  • Experience in selling products from Asia in the USA (ideally under own brand) with setting up a full product compliance and liability system. The product conformity being the most important point of the full setup.
  • Conduct research to identify local markets' customer needs, vendors and business partners
  • Promote the company’s products addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide jointly with the office in Europe trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable online salespeople
  • Find synergies and cost optimization opportunities with our offices in Asia and Europe

YOUR PROFILE

  • Translates broad corporate strategies into clear specific objectives for countries and business units
  • Experience in selling products from Asia in the USA (ideally under own brand) with setting up a full product compliance and liability system. The product conformity being the most important point of the full setup.
  • Proven working experience as an online business development manager, sales executive or comparable role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in German or Polish would be a plus
  • Market knowledge and including important legal requirements
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, project management or relevant field

Following points would be a plus:

  • Experienced in building up ideally an Online Business in the USA for a foreign company
  • Experienced in managing a branch office of ideally an E Commerce company in the USA
  • Proficiency in German or Polish
